About Open Air Publishing
Who We Are
Hi there! We're Open Air Publishing, a tight-knit team of business, tech, and creative types who believe compelling content can be more than just words on a page. We also like snacks a lot.
What We Do
We produce original, how-to e-books designed exclusively for touchscreen devices like the iPad and iPhone. Our books allow readers to master new skills through touch, sight, and sound, guided by our extensive network of experts. Each title in our growing library is crafted to provide a high-quality, comprehensive experience that enhances the depth of a traditional book with premium multimedia elements.
Open Air Publishing was founded in May 2011 and is based in New York City.

Nina Stoller-Lindsey
Production CoordinatorNina brings diverse production experience and a love of words to the process of making new books. Prior to joining Open Air Publishing, Nina was a reporter and fact-checker for New York Magazine and a contributor to Time Out New York. She continues to write for both publications and most enjoys covering quirky cultural topics (think: instrumental jazz covers of Michael Jackson megahits). A former modern dancer-choreographer, Nina has five years of experience in theatrical production and loves the bright lights of photo and video shoots even more than she loves the beach.
Nina earned a BA in English from Harvard University.
Danielle Aaron
Production CoordinatorDani brings her skills as an editor and organization junkie to the production process. Her obsessive-compulsive attention to grammar ensures that our books read clearly and without rogue commas. She is also the voice behind @OpenAirBooks, so say hello sometime! Prior to joining the team, Dani worked for Deluxe Digital Studios as a caption and subtitle editor for film and television. In addition to being an amateur cheesemonger, she also moonlights as an academic editor. Her work includes published PhD theses and specialty journal articles.
Dani earned a BA in Sociology and Communications from McGill University.
David Rhoderick
DeveloperDavid brings his skills as a programmer and multimedia producer to the development process for both web and books. Growing up in a musical family, he first became interested in production through music but quickly took an interest in video and web design. He has worked for Plum TV and with Sony and the Discovery Channel for the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, doing both video and web production. David's singing talent is surpassed only by his ability to clear off an entire plate of food before anyone else has picked up a fork. Ladies: Watch out!
David is currently pursuing a Masters in Computer Art at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan and earned a BS in Electronic Art from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
