Pyjama Day formed after three multi-instrumentalists and one sparkling star drummer met at music school started jamming at a rehearsal studio. Originally coming from backgrounds in classical and jazz training, the band has curated their own sound fusing indie, alternative-rock, and R&B influences. Nia Blankson, now going by Tachie Menson, is a new solo artist and a member of Pyjama Day. She’s a classical pianist, but her original music could be categorized as alternative R&B, and perhaps indie… She's not really sure. Who knows? She has entered the scene with the release of her first single, “Another Day.”
